    A bound Pounamu hei Matau ( fish hook ) that has been carved from a beautiful piece of semi translucent Kokopu ( Trout skin) NZ nephrite jade.

     

    The Matau is said to bring abundance , safe travel over open water and good luck on fishing trips.
